A brief video intro to my research

This week I had a couple fun events: first I got to attend a fancy morning tea at the uni with my primary supervisor celebrating recipients of the Vice Chancellors research PhD scholarship, and then I was invited to give a short summary of my project for a segment on creative research methods filmed for the enabling students’ pathway course on social science. You can find the video of the interview below, as well as a nice photo of me and Hedda at the morning tea. Hopefully this gives a bit of a feel for the human behind the research.

Description: Video featuring three light skinned people wearing neutral toned clothing in a small room with a patterned window and white wall in the background. Ivy is the woman on the left with pink hair talking about her research. She is being interviewed by Vanessa (her second phd supervisor) who is sitting in the centre with long black hair and a black long sleeve shirt, and Jai who is sitting on the far right partially out of frame for much of the video who does not have hair. This video was recorded at the University of Newcastle for part of the social science enabling course.

The woman on the right has pink hair and glasses and is wearing a pale floral dress and a pale green cardigan (that's me, Ivy). The woman on the left has blond hair and dark framed glasses and is wearing a dark tan color jacket and a black scarf (my primary supervisor, Hedda).
